The Mia Tag

My friend, Kelly, asked me to match a tag for her Posh and Whimsy bag made by Tricia (check out her work at www.poshandwhimsy.com). I was a little nervous it wouldn't coordinate, but it turned out fantastic!

The Kristin Tag (aka Bella Tag)

I made these for my friends Linda and Tricia. Bella's was delivered before I remembered to take a photo of it. Can't go wrong with paisley/polka dot/pink/brown!

The Carsyn Tag

I made this one for a friend in MOPS. She wanted to match it to her funky and cute Kalencom bag (as pictured). I used paper from the "Magic Moments" collection from Close To My Heart.

My First True Attempt At Photo Frames

I was inspired after a craft we did at MOPS. I was considering doing something like this for Christmas gifts already, so I went ahead with it. Distressing is my favorite technique. So I distressed all the paper and stamped various fleur-de-lis, etc. After all the paper and ribbon was placed, I Mod Podged everything so it would hold into place. Then added coordinating embellishments. Some are for men, so I couldn't make them too girly. I hope the receivers like them! Hopefully, I'll get better with practice.

You Shine Card

I'm finally done with my cardmaking project!

All the paper came from the CTMH "Good Times" paper collection, which is one of my favorites.

A Simple Thanks

I'm in the middle of a card making project, so I thought I'd share them as I finish them. My goal is use only what I already have on hand. I'm doing pretty well with that, with the exception of some adhesives that I needed.

The purple floral background mat is from a CTMH "Paper Garden" packet. The embossed "thanks" was used on my mom's Cricut. I don't know what cartridge it came out of. I simply punched my "thanks" paper piece with a scalloped square punch. The bling is tiny, which has made it more difficult to adhere without making a mess.

I made a related card, but stamped "Thanks" from the CTMH "For Every Occasion" stamp set, and use CTMH Petal Ink. Basically, the same difference.

The Slayton Tag

This one is made with Close To My Heart  "Good Times" paper. I inked the edges using CTMH Chocolate (my fave, lol). And various coordinating ribbons. This is the tag I'm carrying on my diaper bag.

The Isabelle II Tag

This is another one of my favorites. I used paper from the Close To My Heart "More To Adore" collection. I distressed the edges with CTMH Chocolate ink. The ribbons match perfectly. I got them in a set from Joann's. I find it so much quicker when I find ribbon sets. I don't have to go searching through tons of spools of ribbons to find matches. I like the challenge of designing new tags, but it's also nice when it's laid out before me! I also added in some thin brown and pink satin ribbon and some pink eyelash fiber. And who doesn't love pink and brown.

Halloween Craft

Since Halloween is just around the corner, I thought I would share the ONE Halloween craft I did this year. Last year, I did more, but this year has been weird. And I can't even take credit for all of it! lol I made little giftbags for all of my tablemates at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and my daughter's preschool teacher. My mom and her scrapbooking friends made these adorable little Halloween characters using a Cricut. They made them up so cute! Anyway, they gave some to me and I decided to part with them and use them to put on my giftbags. There are / more, but here are a few. The tag (I made) says "From One Mummy To Another, Happy Fall and Happy Halloween". Oh, and *in* the bag is a Fall colored kitchen towel with two small cookie cutters attached. At one of our meetings, I briefly told my MOPS tablemates about my own version of Bento style lunches I do for my daughter when she goes to preschool. So the cookie cutters are for them to use for that purpose if they wish. That was my initial thought anyway! Anyway, here they are.
